Psalm 58: The God Who Defends!
When you read this psalm, David is very explicit in his prayer, it is the language of a true warrior. He speaks about unrighteous judgement and how the wicked go astray as soon as they are born.
The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.4Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;5Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
This help us to understand the very core wickedness when a person, organization, or system is under demonic influences - this is plain and simple: People are wicked, there is no way to sugar coat this & what we battle is (not the person) but the demonic influence that they have submitted themselves. It is a WAKE UP CALL to not be naïve.
Our strategies to take away from this prayer is at the end of this song (psalm) no matter what situation David found himself in, he almost always ended his prayer with praise!!. He praised our God for defending Him in spite of what was against him!🔥
