Know that God has set boundaries for His children - even in prayer - that is , "Lord, if it be Your will". We have many requests, many needs, but we just can't pray whatever we want and expect the Lord of heaven to answer, think about it logically, if God did that - this world would be even more chaotic.
This statement is meant as a boundary in prayer, its meant to keep us looking to the Lord to fulfill His will in this earth - not our will. This is one of the purposes of prayer, praying Gods solutions in this earth - not our own.
Allow the Lord to purify our motives, purify our desires so that they line up with His will, His heart, to keep our hearts pure, to keep our motives pure - even Jesus prayed "......never the less Lord, not my will, but thine be done. Luke 22:42
