Musician, Priest, Singer & Seer - Psalm 75

Our current reading in Psalm 75 was written by Asaph, who was appointed lead Singer by King David.


He also was a Musician that played the cymbal, he was a Priest and Seer (prophet). His job was to sing praises to the Lord, prophesy and give thanks to the Lord - he did not have an outside job, but solely dedicated himself to the service of the Lord. In doing so, he wrote many of the Psalms we are reading and studying, Psalm 75.


I Chron 15:19 So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass

Yes, there are certain individuals the Lord has graced and anointed to sing, to prophesy and yes - even to Worship!!. Are you one of them? Have you been graced to sing praises and thanksgiving to the Lord? If there is a desire in you to sing, preach, prophesy - DO IT!! God has no respecter of persons and He is waiting to hear your voice!!
